Shaukeen nu lagga si ke Sunday nu so lenda hai, par Bapu Ji layi 7 baje da matlab hai aadha din waste ho jana. Parde khulange, roshni aayegi, te tuhadi nind khatam. Bapu Ji de ghar vich "sleeping in" wargi koi cheez nahi hundi.

Two identical plates. One strategic push.

"Lai la, ehde ch zyada hai." (Take this one, it has more.)

It is the oldest trick in the Punjabi household playbook. The plates have the exact same amount of Maggi, but the older sibling knows psychology. One casual sentence, and the younger sibling short-circuits trying to count the noodles.
