New York City Marble Cemetery, 2nd ave and 2nd st, hosted by Andrew Livingston

2-4pm:

St Marks Church/ Abe Lebewohl Park, 7th st and 2nd Ave, hosted by Matana Roberts

Trinity Church cemetery, Broadway and Wall st, hosted by Marie Incontrera

4-6pm:

Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx with Jazz at Lincoln Center and NPR Music

Sakura Park, across from Grant's Tomb (in the gazebo), hosted by Jazzmobile's Darnell Jay Starkes

430-6pm:

Madison Square Park (Worth Square), hosted by David Rothenberg

On June 21st, Matana Roberts will host an Exquisite Co**ses concert at Abe Lebewohl park at St Marks Church. In homage of the late Ornette Coleman, the improvisation will be structured around Ornette's tune "Lonely Woman."

Peter Stuyvesant, secretary-general of the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam, is buried at St Marks Church, among many other aristocrats and politicians.
