Bas Relief in Progress at Art Space NYC

Every bas relief begins as an idea, but bringing that idea to life is a meticulous, hands-on process that combines artistry with craftsmanship.

This piece is currently in production at our studio. The journey starts with the design concept, followed by sculpting the original model in clay. Once the sculpture is perfected, we create a custom mold that captures every detail. The final step is casting the artwork in beautiful white plaster, revealing the crisp textures and depth that define the finished relief.

Each stage requires precision, patience, and years of experience to transform a concept into a timeless architectural artwork.

We’re excited to share the finished installation soon.

Timeless texture. Mediterranean soul. Crafted by hand.

The most memorable interiors are rooted in both design and tradition. Our custom burlap plaster finish draws inspiration from centuries of Mediterranean craftsmanship, where natural materials, texture, and artisanal techniques create spaces that feel warm, authentic, and enduring.

Layered with depth and character, these surfaces bring a sense of permanence and understated luxury—transforming walls from simple backdrops into architectural features that tell a story.

Because great design isn’t driven by trends. It’s shaped by culture, craftsmanship, and materials that stand the test of time.

Beautiful Italian trowels and brushes on display at Marmorino Depot.

When you look closely at these beautifully crafted tools, you begin to understand something deeper than function — you see the legacy of Venetian craftsmanship.

Each piece reflects generations of knowledge, an uncompromising pursuit of quality, and a true desire for perfection. These are not just tools; they are an extension of the artisan’s hand.

In the world of decorative plaster, the finish is only as good as the tools behind it — and the hands that use them.

This is where tradition meets technique, and where materials are transformed into art.
