Fall 2026 Songs Selected!!!!

IIt was a marvelous musical stroll down memory lane this afternoon!!!

We listened and sang along to POHC favorites, we deliberated, and we ultimately selected our music for our 25th Anniversary Benefit Concert.

Our Superpower is Music!!!!

Our Spring 2026 season is underway with a month of rehearsals under our belts. It’s full steam ahead as we prepare for our Benefit Concert in June and as we celebrate Peace of Heart Choir’s 25th year of music!

Thanks to everyone who has been part of our musical journey! Here’s a look at our first month of rehearsals celebrating our wonderful members and the joy we have as we sing together this season. ❤️🎶

Our superpower is music! We enjoyed such a fabulous year of music in 2025–performing 19 outreach concerts at venues across the city, culminating in our successful Fall 2025 Benefit Concert in Merkin Hall at Kaufman Center where we sang songs of peace as well as songs of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. We even had a raffle with fabulous prizes which has become a fun addition to the program.

And we couldn’t have done any of this without all of you! THANK YOU to our singers, our audiences, our outreach venues, our friends, family, and supporters and a special thanks to Robert René Galván who just completed 15 years as our musical director.

May 2026 bring more beautiful music, peace, and harmony to all of us!

We’re so excited that we’re only days away from our Fall 2025 Benefit Concert: One World, Many Voices. The raffle team is super excited about our absolutely fabulous raffle prizes. We’re excited to present our next concert “One World, Many Voices” on Dec. 14. It will be a fun-filled, family-friendly musical tour of the globe, with opportunities for you to sing with us.

But wait, there’s more! In addition to the concert, at intermission we raffle fabulous prizes, such as a new Gucci handbag (a $1,400 value), family memberships to MoMA and New York Botanical Garden, yoga classes, a Zabar’s gift basket and others. As we approach our annual Fall Benefit Concert, “One World, Many Voices,” our music carries echoes of years past and the promise of the coming year. Our ongoing series of outreach concerts bring joy to our audiences who don’t readily have access to live choral music. We have witnessed and experienced firsthand how music can stir and move our audiences, even stirring an audience member affected by memory loss to come alive in spontaneous dance and song as our music resonated so deeply with her. And we have seen our music bring joy to our audiences time and time again. The smiles, the clapping, the singing along with us….
