🏫 Back-to-school season is here, but we're still thinking about an activity-filled summer with the Youth Corps, who kept the creativity going both on- and offsite all season long.

Open to high school students across the five boroughs, Youth Corps is a paid internship program open to participants from our partner high schools. They are a touchstone of the Armory experience for both the public and the staff and these Summer interns are just beginning their journey with us as Youth Corps can extend into college and beyond for these tremendous young people.

Coming this September: director and dramatist Simon Stone's electrifying adaptation of "The Cherry Orchard" (벚 꽃 동 산) resets the action of Chekhov's final play from Russia to present-day Seoul, South Korea, where the original noble siblings are now corporate heirs struggling to adapt to a world that has moved on without them, suffocated by a rising middle class and wealthy self-made entrepreneurs. Caught between the past and the present, hope and despair, tradition and innovation, the chaebol family is forced to grapple with the inevitable forces of change.
