As-salaamu ‘alaikum / Que la paz de Dios esté con ustedes!

We hope you’re all in good health and taking advantage of the many blessings that this month of light and forgiveness has to offer.

By Allah’s infinite Mercy, we have been blessed to experience the first 10 days of Ramadan 2024! Alhamdulillah / Gracias a Dios! So we thought this would be a great time for our Latino Muslim brothers and sisters to gather together to check in with one another, break our fasts, and pray together. This will be our first Latino Muslim community iftar, so please do join us and bring your family members as well, Muslim or otherwise!

The Latino Muslims at ICNYU was founded in August of 2023 with the goal of elevating the voices of our growing and diverse Latino Muslim community and educating others about our faith, its rich history, and its vibrant expression across so many cultures throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

Space is limited! To RSVP, scan the QR code or see link in bio (under “RAMADAN 2024 AT THE IC!”):

How do you know God sent them?

We’re told our whole lives, “Obey Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ).” We were always taught that he (ﷺ) is the best example, the greatest of creation. But then you go to college, work, and other environments where your faith is put to the test, and the questions start piling in:

“I heard your Prophet said this…”
“I heard your religion says that…”
“How do you know Muhammad didn’t write the Quran?”

Even if you ignore it, Shaytan will let those whispers linger and stir doubt.

So how do you prove to yourself that all of it is true, and that the one who brought it to you was really sent by your Creator?

That’s what we’re exploring in this brand new seminar with  and .
