Seven minute time slots, full theater sound and lighting, great bar, back garden, house band, and a welcoming, supportive community on a beautiful stage. Performers are welcome to workshop, experiment, take a risk; to come onstage with nothing prepared, with everything prepared, to fail, to succeed, to succeed better, to fail better. All with the support of a crowd that can whoop, stomp, and holler for seven minutes straight and then be stricken silent in wonder for another seven. There's a full soundboard and lighting rig on a black backdrop and an expert in the booth to help you with anything you need. There's a green room where you can prepare, and a back garden where you can talk and smoke with the community. There's a house band to play whatever you need, whenever you need it. There's a friendly doorman who gives you raffle tickets to win a free drink at the bar. Oh, and there's a bar, with four dollar Budweiser tall boys, wine, sake, and sometimes Pop Tarts. Open to musicians, comedians, storytellers, artists, poets, actors, writers, performance artists, magicians, exhibitionists, people who just want to talk, and anybody who wants to listen, seven minutes at a time.
