The Mood Magazine Map is almost ready — and we want YOU to help us test it before we officially launch.

This is your chance to explore the app, discover New York, and help us make sure everything works the way it should.

HERE’S HOW TO JOIN THE BETA:

1. TAP THE LINK
Go to:

2. SAVE IT TO YOUR HOME SCREEN
This is important because the app is currently in beta.

On your iPhone:
• Tap the Share button
• Select Add to Home Screen
• Tap Add

Now you’ll have the Mood Magazine Map right on your phone like an app.

3. CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
Open the Mood Magazine Map from your Home Screen and create an account.

4. TURN ON NOTIFICATIONS
Because we’re testing the beta notification system, saving the app to your Home Screen is an important part of the process.

Allow notifications when prompted.

5. EXPLORE THE MAP
Start exploring.

Find Black-owned businesses, restaurants, hotels, bookstores, cultural experiences, churches, destinations and more.

6. POST YOUR NEW YORK FINDS
Create your profile and start sharing what YOU discover.

The Mood Magazine Map is almost ready.

You may see a graphic telling you to “Download the App,” but the App Store/Google Play version is not available yet. We’re currently testing the app before its official release — and we need New Yorkers to help us put it through its paces.

HERE’S HOW TO JOIN THE BETA:

1. Go to:

2. Open the link on your phone.

3. Add Mood Magazine Map to your Home Screen.

This step is important. In the beta, adding the app to your Home Screen is currently required for push notifications to work.

4. Create an account.

5. Build your profile.

6. Explore the map and discover your city.

7. Post your New York finds.

We want to see what you discover.
