I’ve wanted to shoot for since spotting a gorgeous copy at during the first year I met New York. When it finally happened earlier this year—during one of my quicker visits—it felt like a real “it’s time” moment. Like I’d been in a relationship with the city long enough, and we’d reached the next step.

The weather was cold, grey, and raining sideways for April, but somehow that noir tension gave the story exactly what it needed.

Grateful to the whole team, .koda .crespoo and , who’s been a little anchor for me in NY.
