Recently I was thinking: Why don’t men rally around to support each other. I felt exhausted navigating marriage and parenthood in a country I barely known for 4 years. I tried to rally my friends around what I thought we shared in common but no one showed up.

Finally I said a prayer and asking God for help. He sent great men my way. I found my community at cornerstone nation Cornerstone Christian Church of God -📍Edmonton and a spiritual mentor in Emmanuel Adewusi | The Christian Meditation Expert and connected to his mission of restoration and transformation . Now I’m ready to take on the world.

Retiree giving his perspective on how Baby boomers raised kids vs Gen z. He had a lot to share after I told him No one showed up to “daddy day out” - a community support group I decided to start for men.
I’ll try again next week.
We meet at 9:00am at the top of the Glenora stairs.
There’s a men’s bbq event as-well cohosted by my brothers from at 1pm. Join me for both!
