Jeannot R. Barr, Drawings & Prints ( and now photographs 🤔?) are now the representative for her work. It has been a great project -challenging to order her photographs and organize their information as well as the supporting material. Sehwheat Manna is the project manager who has taken on the bulk of this important work.

Sophie Rivera was a New York-born photographer with Puerto Rican roots. She was a pioneering artist in both technique and imagery all the while for being a vocal advocate for her heritage and for neighborhood, The Bronx.

She promoted her contemporary Latino/ Latina photographers -she was a founding member of En Foco, the important organization that continues to promote Latino/Latina photographers.

Her work is in the collections of The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Hammer Museum (UCLA), El Barrio Museum and others.

Founding firm of The New York Fine Print Fair. Original prints and drawings 1550 - today. 140 museums have been clients. Valuations and appraisal services, collection, conservation management and other consulting services are part of the firms operations.

Created in 1983, Jeannot R. Barr was one of the founders of the The New York Fine Print Fair. Its principles are guided by the belief that "we buy art that we love opposed to what [art] we can sell". The establishment collects and sells art from multiple time periods from Europe and North America.

Exhibiting at The New York Satellite Print Fair (2020 virtual edition). October 16-24, 2020. Exhibiting prints (mostly) and drawings 1600 - to today. 19th century French prints take the lead in this show but very nice selections of North American prints as well as work from Great Britain and other European countries.
