Yesterday I spent the day over in the LES painting a mural at The Ridge Hotel on the corner of Houston & Eldridge. I don’t do murals often. Two main reasons as to why. First, I don’t consider myself a muralist. (I think the artists that are, should get the wall space and exposure) and second, I’m really not the biggest fan of climbing up ladders and heights. Once I get acclimated, I’m fine. It’s the initial few minutes that I’m really not a fan of. 🤷🏻♂️
Anywho… Harris Lobel has been reaching out for a couple of years for me to rock this wall. (Thank you for being patient bro) I felt the timing was perfect for this location, being this wall is sandwiched (pun) in between 🌭Katz's Delicatessen Yonah Schimmel's Knish Bakery and Russ & Daughters all iconic Jewish delis within a few blocks of each other, and how perfectly it aligns with a project I’m finishing up.
Stay tuned.
