“Ashes of a Star” found its forever home in Queens yesterday.

First painting of the year.
A commission by a collector in Germany.

I’ve been deep in build mode — turning keys, painting walls, moving weight, making space — and almost forgot how much I needed to paint inside the noise.

This one came quietly, between logistics and late nights.
A reminder that the work doesn’t disappear just because life gets loud.

End of year thought:

I’ve spent so much time trying to look “fine.” Put together. Acceptable. Okay.

I’m not interested in just being okay anymore.

I want to live louder. Feel deeper. Make things that don’t just look beautiful, but move something inside the body.

I’m done shrinking to fit expectations. Done pretending I’m not meant for more.

I’m stepping into this next chapter raw, emotional, imperfect yet beautiful, vulnerable, and fully alive.
