Criminal investigator Lena Ekstrom returns home to Wolf Valley, a remote Norwegian fjord-town, hoping to find closure on her mother's death 20 years prior. Instead, Lena finds herself pulled into a murder case when the body of a young woman is found in the fjord.

Blending Nordic noir with Norse mythology, Wolf Valley is a 5-episode eco-thriller produced by Almost Tangible for BBC Radio 4 in their Limelight strand. Charlotte Melén's narrative weaves together murder mystery, police procedural, and psychological drama, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Norwegian landscape. Each episode ends on a cliffhanger that keeps listeners coming back for more until the final, climactic showdown in the Norwegian mountains.

Recorded partly in studio, partly on location, Wolf Valley took home Gold Towers for Writing and Sound.
