It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy White Eagle, an artist whose impact on this community was profound.

Dear collaborator/friend of Timothy, Paul Budraitis, has sent a message from Berlin.

"True Artist, generous guide, endlessly curious student, sassy trickster, dear and loving friend. Champion of the invisible and the forgotten. There will never be another like Timothy. Knowing him made you feel special because he had an uncanny ability to see what is special in you and to let you know that it’s there. I know that others will reflect more eloquently than I could about his incredible ability to facilitate ritual space. What I feel called to celebrate is my dear friend’s particular gift to see the ones that we tend to overlook or turn away from - the lost, the ones on the margins, the addicts, the boundary breakers, the misfits - and to bring them into the circle. Through his genre-defying work in theaters, in public spaces, around a fire in some deep forest somewhere, this giant, wounded healer and holy fool deliberately created spaces where the unwanted knew that they were safe, and welcome, and needed. As hard as it is to accept, his body is gone now, and for that I grieve in community with all of those whose lives he touched. But I’m also deeply certain that the remarkable spirit that he so generously shared with the world will live on and will be carried forward by all of us lucky enough to have experienced it. We are all a little bit Timothy now, and the world is a better, more compassionate place because of it."

🎨 Paintings come to life on stage.

Join us for "Maedeup: Weaving Shin Yun-bok", an extraordinary multidisciplinary performance bringing the iconic 18th-century Korean genre paintings of Shin Yun-bok to life.

Through dynamic movement, live foley sound, and visual storytelling, this non-verbal work seamlessly weaves traditional Korean aesthetics with contemporary theatrical performance.
