In an exciting update, our new grantee school P.S.149 Danny Kaye just received instruments from our Intro To Music program! Named after the famous singer, Danny Kaye is known for his comedic lyrics and novelty songs. When the current principal, Yvette Donald, learned who Danny Kaye was, she was shocked that there wasn’t already a music program in the school. To celebrate the beginning of the “Danny Kaye Band” here’s Principle Donald with her students!
