"Nothing was handed to me on a silver platter when I was young. I wanted to be a musician from an early age. I rehearsed every day, finished school, became a school teacher, worked in an office, changed many different professions. And always thought about how to become musician. Then I decided to go to London without money, starved for several years, and then the opportunity presented itself. I never regretted that time, because it expanded the scope of my perception. If I had achieved success right away, I would not have been able to appreciate how much I was. happy now" (Sting).
