"Anthony and I were introduced during the pandemic by a mutual friend - he wanted to record a song he'd written as a present for his husband. We worked remotely, me producing the track and him recording the vocals on opposite coasts (I was in LA at the time, he in NYC). It was a magically easy collaboration, and we went on to record multiple songs that way, and I even scored a short film he wrote, but we had never met in person until TONIGHT! This is why these nights are so important!"

It was a great evening connecting with old and new friends, and hearing from special guests Farrah Cukor and Scott Wasserman about the agent/client relationship and the nuances of creative representation within the industry.

Calling all writers!

We hope you’ll join us on Monday, 2/9, for our MMTL Meetup at Sir Henry’s.

MMTL Meetup is a quarterly industry informal gathering, serving as a networking opportunity for the musical theatre writing community.

Next month we’ll be having a chat with theatre department agent at the UTA Farrah Cukor. Farrah represents clients like composer/orchestrator Scott Wasserman, playwright Lily Houghton, and director Miranda Cornell.
