We’ve appointed Dr. Oliver Jia as executive director of the 2026 Piano Star International Competition🚀

A past Piano Star judge and currently the Chair of Piano and Klipsch Artist-In-Residence at the Unviersity of Central Arkansas, Dr. Jia is a graduate of , .music, and . His wide-ranging performance career has spanned across the world and includes appearances at , Concert Hall, and .

As Piano League continues to expand its work across multiple initiatives, appointing Dr. Jia allows us to focus on strengthening our broader platform for long-term growth while still delivering an artistic, successful 2026 season.

We want to give Oliver a warm welcome and can’t wait for you to get to know him better in the coming year. We’re looking forward to expanding our impact and can’t wait to share more about what we’ve been working on — let the music begin!💫

Announcing the winners of the 2025 Piano Star International Competition🌟
Following yesterday and today’s grand final rounds, this year’s competition has officially concluded until the Carnegie Hall showcase in June 2026. As always, the level of expertise and talent shown by contestants during each round was nothing short of exceptional.
Thank you to our grand final judges — , , Robert Blocker, James Giles, and Hyun-Sook Park — and the PL team for making this weekend a success!🎼
