2024 Studio Alum Kristen Marie Gillis spent Summer 2026 as an Ader Emerging Artist with Charlottesville Opera. Her portrayal of Berta in The Barber of Seville garnered a great review in Opera Today!

“Likewise, Kristen Marie Gillis made an impression in her featured role as Berta. Her characterization was appropriately sassy and her singing was excellent, her voice a nice soprano capable of a lovely float. She deserved the enthusiastic applause she got after her aria.”

Congratulations, Kristen! FLO is excited to see all that you do!
