In order to promote diversity in production, Evoke is excited to collaborate with Black Spectrum Theater in Queens. Evoke has partnered to create a "teaching tech" program for the production of "Mae Jemison".

Rather than the usual creative process we are taking time to teach students and young adults design process, tech process, focus, and programming. With hands on learning and a full experience of bringing this play to the stage for Black History Month. By opening the entire company will have gained valuable skills and knowledge to foster a career in theatrical design.

Evoke is continuously engaging with our community and we encourage our peers to do the same. Come work with us and be the change in the industry we all want to see.

At the core of our company, collaboration is the heart of it. It takes a village of dedicated, hardworking, and talented artists and technicians to bring a project like this to life.

The new LaGuardia Airport features a stunning 40’ tall permanent cylindrical water feature. Over the course of the day, travelers in terminal B are able to enjoy both seasonal and New York City themed shows. Utilizing sound, lighting, 360 deg projection mapping, and dancing water effects.

This is just a taste of the project, stay tuned in the next few days to see the process of how we worked with companies like Fireplay Beta Petrol WorldStage and Aquatique to create these beautiful shows!
