Still in my diplomacy era. 🇺🇳

Have you ever stopped to wonder how your fundamental human rights being upheld is heavily dependent on the whether there’s peace where you are? If you haven’t, I hope this post makes you do so.

Peace as a human right has been a subject matter of discourse for years, but the world has not been able to unanimously agree on its inclusion in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This doesn’t make it less true. Peace is a human right every human is entitled to, and it’s time the world sees it and treats it as such.

I envision a world where positive peace is a norm! A state of justice, equity, fairness. A world where ceasefires don’t determine or regulate peace. I understand the dynamics of the international system, and why this seems hard, but I refuse to accept it as an impossibility.

Temiloluwa Bolawole is my name, a spoken word poet, peace advocate, UNICEF GenU YPAT, Lagos State Youth Ambassador, and I use my platforms to spur positive action, peace, youth development, and share the gospel of Christ.

Should peace be a human right?

Earlier today, I had the opportunity to sit on the panel
and share insights on my journey and work, and enjoyed every moment of it. 🤩

It was so encouraging to see that young people actually follow my journey intentionally, and are using it as a guide in writing their own stories. 💙

A big shoutout to LASU Conscience for putting together Evolve 4.0 and for inviting great speakers and personalities like Uncle and the to pave a path for the students and every attendee to follow. 🤩

I enjoyed making this video. 😅 If you featured, let me know 👇

I learn several lessons from the diplomatic engagements I get to be a part of; however, the need for collaboration between the various sectors (public, private, and development) stands out every time.

I had the opportunity to represent UNICEF Gen U at the Securing Futures Agenda Conference which aimed at creating market solutions for internal displaced persons in Nigeria, and also serve as a rapporteur. A rapporteur simply put, documents key points and communicates the outcomes of discussions.

For the first time ever, I watched a room of leaders immediately rise beyond the organisations they represent to actually solve a challenge the conference was designed to resolve. Mariam, an IDP and beneficiary of one of the works of the development partners had the opportunity to share her experience, and raise her plight. She needed gadgets and internet access to level up the tech skill she learnt in one of the IDP camps, and to also be able to train other girls like her when she gets back to the camp. The room heard, and leaders led! 1m+ raised, and other essentials catered for by that room. Creating a solution at that spot. One life at a time, yh!?

I am more than convinced the resolutions reached would be implemented and changes effected.

Well done 👏. Shout out to for the access to make change. And shout out to the Queen of Talk for the excellence she brought to the stage as the compere and for being one of the cool people 😁

If this pops on your feed, it means you eat good! (See what I did there?)😁😅

A lot has happened in the last few days across all of these passion areas. However, diplomacy has been a key focus area for me. The appointment of a new Minister of Foreign Affairs, in person of Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Nigeria’s “voluntary repatriation” and diplomatic response to the Xenophobic demonstrations in SA… A whole lot has been going on, and I’ll be dissecting and sharing in the coming days.

To the amazing individuals who have decided to join my journey, welcome and enjoy the ride✨.

Most of the opportunities I’ve gotten were extended by regular attendees of events I attended.

Now this post is not me discouraging you from engaging the speakers at events, please do if you have a purpose or an intent. This is just me pointing out the goldmine fellow event attendees possess that you may overlook.

So when next you go for that big event or gathering for people in your niche, don’t just struggle to take pictures with the celebrities or for the gram, be intentional about actually connecting with people like you who also attend the events.

PS. This video was so spontaneous. I didn’t want to share it here, but some needs to hear this before going for their next event. 😁

Still in my diplomacy era. 🇺🇳

I am first Christ’s diplomat, one of his emissaries. An envoy here on earth to guide and reflect God’s kingdom. I came to terms with this years ago, and bought into Jeremiah 29:11 with all my heart

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.😌

Whenever people hear me speak about the exploits I’d do, they wonder where the conviction comes from. It’s from Christ. Knowing I have received salvation and I’ve been called to live a life with meaning. Knowing I’ve been called to an extraordinary life.

So if you ever see me smiling in thoughts, know it’s me basking in the reality of the life God has promised.😌📌

Wondering why you should give your life to Christ? Here’s another reason.

PS. The UNICEF GenU 9ja call for YPATs is still on. If you are a young changemaker in Nigeria, and you’d like to volunteer with UNICEF, this is for you.

I just need to fix my home before I’m fit to build another man’s house.

If you are a Nigerian aged 18 years and above coming across this video, and you are without a Permanent Voters Card, you are part of the problem! A big part. I know many of you have lost trust in the system, and you believe your votes won’t count or make a difference, so you embrace apathy, choosing to either not take part in the elections at all, or take part and support a supposed “popular” candidate only because you feel that’s the only way your vote would somehow count, it’s a dirty lie!!!!!!!

You have a civic responsibility to vote during elections, fulfill your civic responsibility without apology!

2 days till PVC registrations close, just go to any INEC office around you and register.

Take that permission from work, tell that lecturer you can’t attend his class, 2 hours from your business can secure and scale it for the next 4 years and beyond! Go get your PVC today! Please🙏

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 🇳🇬

Still in my diplomacy era. 🇺🇳 So here’s me telling our emergence begins now!

The clock is ticking, this is

04/12/2026

Of what essence is our existence, if we are not constantly in awe of the one far greater than we are?

Of what essence is your existence if you are not constantly in awe of the one far greater than you are?

“When God made man,
He created him distinct from his other creatures,
Carved man to be like he is,
A reflection of his own very nature:
IMAGO DEI,
God replicated His image
So where I dey E gats to go dey.
The very consciousness of his presence is worship…”

A time was had today. A generation is rising, forged to become walking vessels of worship and excellence. ❤️
