The 52nd Street Project A community-based, non-profit arts organization dedicated to the young people of Hell’s Kitchen, NYC.

The Project is a not for profit, arts-in-education, after school organization dedicated to the kids of Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan. The Project primarily creates original theater by having kids collaborate with professional theater artists.

Big news from The Project! 🎭🚨📰

After 35 years at The 52nd Street Project, our beloved Executive Director Carol Ochs will be retiring this November. We’re incredibly grateful for all she has built and for the many years she has devoted to the young people and community of The Project.

We’re also very happy to welcome Brian Adamczyk as our next Executive Director. Brian is an arts nonprofit leader, educator, and professional musician who joins us from Brooklyn Music School.

We’re looking forward to this next chapter, and to having Brian become part of the Project family.

So much love to our incredible runners, and to everyone who showed up, donated, cheered, and helped us blast past our fundraising goal 💥!!! Couldn’t have done it without this community, and wouldn’t want to !

Our 52 Run Crew is taking on the Brooklyn Half THIS SUNDAY 🏃‍♀️💛 and we are SO ready to show up for them. We’ll be posted up around mile 7 on Flatbush Ave (look for the 52 signs & a group of people being rowdy) to cheer everyone through, then heading to Wild East Brewing after to hang, celebrate, and refuel together. If you’re one of our runners, send this to your people so they know where to find us- and if you know one of our runners (or are just part of our community), come through!! it’s going to be such a good day 🤩
also… we’re in the final stretch (literally) and doing one last push on fundraising 💥 every mile our runners have trained for is supporting the Project, and it really means sooo much. if you’re able, consider donating or sharing their pages, you can find the link in bio 💛 let’s get them across the finish line in every way!!!
