INVITE: JAMIE ZECCOLA: “BRUSH WORKS”
DATES: May 4th - 10th , 2026
RECEPTION: SAT, May 9th, 6-9pm

Satellite Gallery is pleased to present BRUSH WORKS, another New York solo exhibition by painter Jamie Zeccola. Known for his playful exploration of Art Brut, absurd comedy, and satirical narratives, Zeccola’s latest series is an homage to the paintbrush; a tool that he uses to push the boundaries of gestural art to the edges of the canvas and the frame. By willing the paint into action, and to revel in material discovery, he simplifies the search for meaning by letting his paintbrush do all the talking.

“ A paintbrush is a paintbrush is a paintbrush.”

– Duke A. Barnstable

JOIN US💥 .gallery presents “WELCOME ❤️ HOME” a large group exhibition featuring works that straddle the space between functional design and art object. It exists at the intersection of design, high art, and play. The objects will speak as they intermingle with one another creating an atmosphere that also straddles - somewhere between a real space, a cartoon space, and a child-like space of make-believe. Who lives here? Maybe you do? Maybe it’s more fun to imagine it all anyway. Welcome ❤️ Home will envelope the viewer, like a hug inside a pillow fort - full of wonk, beauty, and sweetness.

RECEPTION: Friday, March 13, 2026 from 7:00–10:00 PM 🎉

Art Academy of Cincinnati (AAC) is pleased to present 16 Karat Gold: Selections from the Art Academy of Cincinnati, a special pop-up exhibition featuring student work at Satellite Gallery, located at 279 Broome Street, New York, NY. The exhibition marks AAC’s first student trip to New York City since the COVID-19 pandemic, reviving a long-standing institutional tradition of immersive, off-campus learning in one of the world’s most influential art centers.

The exhibition showcases original works by over forty AAC students, all created on 16 x 16 inch paper and presented in a wide range of media, reflecting the breadth, experimentation, and rigor of the college’s emerging artists. All works will be available for purchase at $150, with 100% of sales proceeds going directly to the student artists. AAC extends special thanks to Satellite Gallery for generously hosting the exhibition and not taking a commission, ensuring full financial support for participating students.

The show will be juried by Brian Andrew Whiteley , owner and founder of Satellite Gallery and the internationally recognized Satellite Art Fair in Miami. Awards will include one Best of Show and two Honorable Mentions, with cash prizes presented to selected artists.

Through 16 Karat Gold, AAC celebrates student creativity, resilience, and the return to collective artistic engagement on a national stage.
