We are thrilled to welcome back to the 2026 Design + Art Advisory Council!

We asked Kelly: "When you walk into Salon, what are you looking for first?"

She said: "I’m looking for the thing I haven’t seen before. I try not to arrive with too much of a checklist because then you inevitably miss what’s actually interesting. I’m looking for the booth—or sometimes just the single object—that makes me stop in my tracks and want to know more."

Kelly Behun is the founder of New York based Kelly Behun Studio, a practice known for sophisticated, highly bespoke interiors with a distinctive dialogue between art and design. Described by The New York Times as “an interior designer with the eye of a gallerist,” Kelly’s work spans interiors, furniture, lighting design & home accessories as well as frequent collaborations with leading names across the worlds of design and art. Her work has repeatedly earned her a place on Architectural Digest’s AD100 and ELLE DECOR’s A-List, where she is recognized in the Titans category.

We are honored to welcome Ariel Ashe to Salon’s 2026 Design + Art Advisory Council.

We asked Ariel: “After 15 years, what do you think continues to set Salon Art + Design apart?”

She said: “The level of the dealers at the fair is really amazing. They’re not bringing their safe inventory, they are bringing their most insane pieces. There’s still an appetite for something really original.”

Ariel Ashe is a New York-based interior designer and the co-founder of ASHE LEANDRO, the multidisciplinary design studio she established in 2008 alongside architect Reinaldo Leandro. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Set and Lighting Design from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Ariel began her professional journey in 2002, bringing a strong foundation in theatrical composition and spatial storytelling to her interior design practice. Over the past two decades, Ariel has become recognized for her distinctive design sensibility, an inviting blend of modern refinement and timeless warmth. Her work is characterized by the thoughtful integration of natural materials, custom furnishings, and vintage elements, creating spaces that are both highly functional and emotionally resonant. Ashe and Leandro have been on the AD100 list for the past eight years.

We are thrilled to announce Courtney McLeod, principal of Right Meets Left Interior Design, as the designer of the historic entrance hall for the 15th edition of Salon Art + Design, returning to the Park Avenue Armory this November.

Now in its third year, Salon selects a leading interior designer to reimagine the fair's arrival experience, creating a unique first impression for each edition.

For Salon 2026, McLeod will unveil Impossible Blooms, a surrealist fantasy inspired by dreams realized and the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland. Known for her vivid, collected interiors and expressive use of color, McLeod will transform the Armory’s arrival sequence into an immersive environment designed to feel like stepping through the looking glass.

“As a long-time attendee and admirer of the fair, I am beyond delighted by the opportunity to transform the arrival sequence at the Park Avenue Armory,” says McLeod. “I look forward to collaborating with the Salon team to bring this surreal and dreamy experience to life for visitors this November.”

Founded in Bombay in 2018 by Rahul and Roshni Jhaveri, .renn approaches jewelry as a space for artistic experimentation, creating precious wearables that are intentionally imperfect, unexpected and “a bit off-center.” Rooted in the founders’ longstanding engagement with contemporary art, the studio translates abstract ideas, objects and emotions into sculptural works that blur the boundaries between jewelry, art and design.

Known for a material-agnostic approach, Studio Renn pairs diamonds and gold with unconventional materials including concrete and found, discarded wood, continually reconsidering ideas of preciousness, form and beauty.

We look forward to welcoming Studio Renn to the Park Avenue Armory for Salon’s 15th edition, November 4–8, 2026.
