D'Oro Dance Ensemble is a Non-Profit Dance Theatre Company established in 2007 by Mr.Dwayne Fullwood, Mrs.Tamaria Reid-Byfield and Mr.Orrette Beckford in Kingston, Jamaica. D'Oro was created with the vision of showcasing Jamaica's rich artistic culture using dance as a tool to foster change and development in the lives of young people. D'Oro aims to facilitate the strengthening and honing of the creative abilities of each member through workshops, seminars, interviews, training sessions, group outings to other performances, annual productions. The company aims to strive for and maintain a high standard in the creative industries particularly the performing arts sector by abiding by the group’s principles and core values. Today the company now operates in Brooklyn, New York and has been shaping the lives of many youths living in the vicinity and surrounding areas.
