CASTING NOTICE

As a part of our Angry Fish Tank series - experimental physical theatre plays at storefront displays, we are looking for female actors/models for a performance art piece on July 20th in SoHo.

The piece is our take on beauty pageants with the main idea in breaking the existing standards of beauty and empowering all women to be proud in looking different. Therefore looking for individuals ideally with a strong opinion on this topic, great acting experience and a huge personality. All types of beauties are welcome.

Anyone who was told they're not the right standard to succeed in the entertainment or fashion industry, that they are "not standard" body shape or appearance, "not pretty enough", "too masculine" or "too unusual-looking" are encouraged to apply. We would be happy to prove them wrong together.

We are sorry to announce one or two of the people in charge are out of commission tonight and we have to do an open rehearsal instead of the performance. Come tomorrow June, 29th, 8pm or Sunday, July 2nd, 9pm for the full experience or join us tonight at 8pm, World Money Gallery to see how we develop this piece and participate in our interactive and improv acting games. John Paul Harkins has worked off off Broadway for ten years with the likes of The Flea, The Living Theater, Faux Real, Spookfish, ATA, Brooklyn Community Spaces, Tiny Rhino, Instant Shakespeare, and Pratt Institute. Undergrad at University of Dallas, MFA at Purdue University. John Paul was born in Rome, Italy and grew up in San Antonio, Texas.

Seeing so many empty stunning storefronts on the streets of New York became our inspiration for creating the experimental play "Front. End. Center." set at a storefront display. They say the iconic city storefronts are a dying kind, but we are hoping that art would be able to fill the space and encourage space owners to support artists.

We are excited to announce that our play will collaborate on this project with an art gallery storefront "World Money Gallery" in Brooklyn.

The play will be full of surprises. Join us for the two nights of previews on June 16, 17th.
