Thank you to all who joined us for Bruce Rameker's farewell reception at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, NYC! We will miss Bruce as he heads off for his new adventure in the fall.

Our second concert of the 2026-2027 season will be "The Lily of Quito | Cantata on St. Mariana de Jesús de Paredes." Composer and soprano Dr. Stephanie Susberich and the Choir of St. Ignatius Loyola present this work on the 17th-century mystic and patroness of Ecuador. A member of the Third Order of St. Francis, Mariana is remembered for a life of devotion, sacrifice, and profound spiritual interiority, and is known as the “Lily of Quito,” a title linked to a miracle at her death. Please join us following the 7:30pm Mass on Sunday, June 14 at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, NYC as we celebrate the ministry of Bruce Rameker. Bruce joined the Choir of St. Ignatius in 1994 and has been the cantor for the 7:30 Mass community for over 15 years. In addition to his ministry in music, he has been a longtime leader of the LGBT Catholics and Friends ministry. Bruce is moving to Europe later this year, and we wish to offer our gratitude for his decades of service and send him with our love and blessings into this next chapter!

The last Masses with the Wallace Hall Choir and Orchestra and Canticum Sacrum will be this weekend (11am and 7:30pm). The choirs will return in September.

They will present a program of music celebrating the English Choral tradition at its finest. No tickets are needed for this performance!
