Welcome to the page for Mike's Acoustic Children's Parties/Party Time with Music Mike. The aim is always to provide fun music for children's parties, mom's groups, music classes or whatever your occasion. I perform using a combinations of stringed instruments (acoustic guitar, banjo and ukulele) and harmonica. I also bring sacks of little instruments such as tambourines, maracas, shaky eggs and batons with ribbons and bells so the kids can get their groove on. My set ranges from the traditional songs you've come to know and love to songs by child friendly songs by artists normally associated with grown up music (Beatles, John Denver, Simon & Garfunkel, Monkees, Neil Young, etc.) plus songs from the new crop of children's artists (Okee Dokee Brothers, Caspar Babypants, They Might Be Giants, Ziggy Marley, Dan Zanes, to name a few.
