The Alchemical is a complex of white box studios for rehearsal, photography, film & classes directed by Carlo Altomare and Gia Lisa Krahne. A true artistic laboratory where artists can engage in the research and development of new work through rehearsal, teaching, and performance. Our three 70 seat white box performance theaters and four other affordable, clean rehearsal studios are uniquely inviting spaces for rehearsals, performances, classes, workshops, readings, dance, photography & video shoots, fashion, lectures, auditions, screenings and more.

A milestone as the first openly trans woman to receive a Tony award. Couldn’t have happened to a better person!!! So proud of for being recognized with this honor for her costume design on !

What makes this more special is that Qween is a trailblazer and beloved leader for the activism community. She holds space for everyone and offers endless affirmation of the power of love and collective action.

Her organization has been a safe haven for so many. Walking the talk with every breath of her brilliant life. We love you Qween!! 🖤🎉❤️
