Announcing the opening of NYC Vedic Center, my new storefront Āyurveda clinic, teaching studio, and modest specialty shop at 569 Union Street in Brooklyn.
It's been a long time coming, but I am finally dedicating myself to practicing and teaching full-time again! It was bittersweet with the closing of Alchemical Studios, after re-building three beautiful locations over the last twelve years. But the silver lining has brought me back here.
In the spring, I began dreaming of having an old-fashioned storefront doctor's clinic, where people can walk in off the street, ask their healing questions, and sit and chill with a book from the library. Sparked by this street-level location I had my eye on for a few months next door to my apartment in Gowanus, Brooklyn. By the time I inquired about the space, someone else had leased it... As luck would have it, out of curiosity and desire, I checked again a couple months later– and the original deal had fallen through!
So once again I dove into designing and creating a warm sanctuary space. And you are invited! The bulk of my practice is Ayurvedic medical consultation, treatments, and bodywork therapies. I am also offering meditation sessions, Vedic Astrology readings (jyotiṣa), and the panoply of Vedic studies.
For those of you I haven't seen for some time, feel free to reach out to pick up on Ayurvedic care or open new avenues of learning. For those who are currently active with me, you know where I'm at! Keep on coming in and visiting or having sessions.
