Guyana’s 60th Independence Anniversary, the Diamond Jubilee, at the Guyana Independence Flag Raising Planning Committee - Newark, NJ 🇬🇾✨Theme:
“Sixty Years of Independence: Reflection, Resilience, and Growth”

The evening brought together members of the Guyanese and Caribbean diaspora, community leaders, elected officials, cultural performers, and residents as we honor Guyana’s rich heritage, resilience, and continued growth.

Members of the Taranng Dance Troupe, Wendy Powell & International Dancer Zaman represented us in cultural performances.

This was a collaborative effort with members of the Taranng Dance Troupe and Dave Nandkumar. Thank you for beautifully representing our rich Indian Culture with vibrant dances.

Guyana 🇬🇾 60th Independence Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) celebration with the New York City Public Library .

We had the honor of presenting a 45mins showcase of our rich Guyanese culture, music, dance and storytelling with the Library staff, attendees and special guests like Guyana’s Vice Consul Mr. Jeff McNaughton.

20th Annual Sheer Yamunaji Loti Mahotsav
Shiva Shakti Center, Garfield, NJ

Over the 5+ years, we have been providing solo dance entertainment with International Dancer Zaman and Sundari, The Indian Goddess at the Shiva Shakti Center in New Jersey for various celebrations.

Over the weekend, Sundari returned with Vanie N Bhimsain and Angelina with a semi-classical piece celebrating and glorifying Sheer Yamunaji.

Thank you, Pandit Denish, for your continuous respect, support, and love. Much gratitude for this blessing and having us part of this celebration.
