🎭The last word, from our beloved Musical Director!🎭
➡️"One of my inspirations for this show was the fact that the plot story is based on real life, and the real challenges people face when they dream about a better life in New York City; I myself can relate to it. Moreover, the style of the music is also very common among the people who come to the city, people I relate to who are full of energy and dreams. It's been a great experience to me as I love to co-direct it in preparation of the singers and the latin orchestra! I've learned a lot with the cast and also learned to love all of them. It's a blessing for me."

➡️"My inspiration for this show comes from the students here at Nyack. They taught me so much about Latino culture and dance. I am indebted to them for their beautiful collaborative spirit and generosity. I tried to tap into the strengths that brought out the actors' unique personalities. Within this dance structure there is freedom for the students to be themselves and be creative. I feel their essence shines through best in this manner and forms a connection with the audience. Bravi tutti! It is a dream to work with this kind and talented group!"
