Airport and the Strange Package A non-descript man enters an airline gate for a routine flight to Wilmington. While it’s a trip he’s taken many times, this time will be different.

A good Samaritan airline traveler waiting for his flight to board receives a strange package from a complete stranger and tries to help, only to be thrown into a surreal set of circumstances reminiscent of a modern travel nightmare. A strange package becomes his boarding pass to a realm just one step beyond the x ray, just one door down the hall from the rack of shoe trays….

nge Package” is a hilarious but Kafkaesque trip behind the veneer of airport security. Is there a hidden agenda? Are we being protected or controlled? Sign here, take off your shoes, step into this box, then report to Room 237 with your package. BUT DON’T LOOK INSIDE!!!! A non descript traveler arrives at his departure gate for a routine flight to Wilmington. The terrorist warning announcement settles comfortably in his sub conscious. What would happen if the ridiculous announcement that plays over and over suddenly manifests? The traveler’s reality is suddenly thrust into the matrix of our beloved TSA. Airport and the Strange Package is a hilarious send up of so called “Airport Security”. Do they exist to protect or control? Are we aware of the dehumanization or just inured? Airport and the Strange Package will reopen your eyes to the days when someone flying somewhere could just WALK ON THE PLANE!!!!! Written by Sean King and directed by William Roudebush, Airport and the Strange Package is a hysterical lampoon of the TSA, its hypocrisy, and the effectiveness of its’ purported purpose.
