The Dahesh Museum of Art The Museum's core collection originated with Dr. Dahesh (tr. and abroad.

Chartered in 1987, the Dahesh Museum of Art is the only institution in the United States devoted to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting works by Europe's academically-trained artists of the 19th and early 20th centuries. "Inspiring Wonder"), the pen name of the late Salim Moussa Achi (1909–1984), an influential Lebanese writer, philosopher, and connoisseur, in whose honor the Museum is named. The Dahesh Museum of Art continues to organize exhibitions and loan major artworks to other museums throughout the U.S. In response to COVID-19 we closed our facility, and are currently working on refurbishing the Museum Gift Shop, but you may order our Publications online at https://dahesh-museum-of-art.myshopify.com/collections/publications
