TELEVISION EVENT opens Friday, May 30 with special opening weekend in-person events.

Documentarian Jeff Daniels’ gripping making-of chronicle of director Nicholas Meyer’s 1983 THE DAY AFTER, the most controversial movie ever to air on network TV, which played on Cold War fears of nuclear annihilation to a staggering 100 million viewers (the then-largest TV movie audience in history), and so disturbed President Ronald Reagan, it prompted a policy reversal on nuclear weapons.

Don’t miss Q&As with Jeff Daniels and Nicholas Meyer at 6:30 on opening night, Fri, 5/30, and Daniels and special guests on Sat, 5/31 at 6:10.

“Absolutely riveting, highly entertaining... a remarkable, often oddly funny, look at the broadcast network machinations at the time... a wild ride.” - Pete Hammond, Deadline

LOVE, the first installment of Dag Johan Haugerud's must-see Berlin-winning triptych LOVE - S*X - DREAMS: THE OSLO TRILOGY opens this Friday, May 16, with Haugerud in-person for Q&As on opening night at 7:45pm and Sat, 5/17 at 5:15pm.

A tender, charming story of two hospital colleagues – Marianne, a straight (and straitlaced) doctor, and Tor, a gay male nurse – with contrasting approaches to intimacy and romance.

“Breezy, s*xy, thoughtful …Feels, in its quiet, conversational way, rather radical” - Guy Lodge, Variety

René Clément’s FORBIDDEN GAMES, a post-war masterpiece from the director of PURPLE NOON, opens today in a beautiful new 4K restoration.

“A remarkably unsentimental allegory of childhood innocence and adult ignorance. Straightforwardly simple but psychologically complex, the movie is sweet, sardonic, and ultimately shattering.” - J. Hoberman, The New York Times
