Melanie, a gifted, but down and out, chanteuse should be packing–she should already be packed; she's moving tomorrow. Topher, her best friend/spiritual brother and up-and-coming q***r performance artist, wants her to move to Brooklyn so bad that he's dragging his boyfriend, Max, all the way to Western Massachusetts to pick her up & they'll be there any minute. The thing is, her soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend, Thomas, has a 6AM flight to London that she'd really prefer to be on, but he hasn't asked her along and, even though he's bad for her, she just can't seem to let him go. Meanwhile, Max is increasingly frustrated that he cannot compete with Topher and Melanie's bond.
