i’ve never done a birthday post before but this year i will.
last week i cut off seven years, one month, and 26 days of hair and donated 40 inches to Wigs For Kids, 4 inches past my goal of three feet.
seven years is a long time to carry anything around. a lot of that hair was with me before the world changed, in different continents, making different work and attached to different versions of myself.
for my birthday anyone who feels like doing something for me can join in sending a small monetary donation to Wigs For Kids
