What happens inside the mind when words won’t stay still?

The Words Will Come is a new immersive play exploring dyslexia, shame, language, and identity through movement, projection, sound, and story.

This piece has been years in the making, and getting to build it alongside this incredible team of artists has been deeply meaningful.

What does it actually feel like inside a dyslexic mind?

Not just the difficulty of reading - but the pressure, the overwhelm, the imagination, the shame, the creativity, and the constant attempt to make sense of a world moving too fast.

The Words Will Come is a new immersive play exploring dyslexia through movement, sound, projection, and story.

Inside rehearsal for The Words Will Come.

This piece is being built through movement, sound, projection, memory, and emotion trying to physically capture what it feels like when language slips just out of reach.

Every day in rehearsal we keep discovering new layers inside the story.

We're officially announced! BroadwayWorld just covered the world premiere of The Words Will Come.

Running June 4–28 at Shaking the Tree Theatre in Portland, this multisensory play follows a young Iranian-American girl navigating language, school, and identity as she struggles with dyslexia — until an unexpected guide, Albert Einstein, helps her reimagine how she sees the world.

Blending projection, soundscape, and physical storytelling, the production invites audiences inside the experience of the dyslexic mind.

I'm incredibly grateful to our cast, creative team, and the residencies that helped bring this project to life.
