June 19 is PREVIEW NIGHT, and Veer Arya (Reis) is snatching the phone and giving you the full pre-show fantasy 💅

Originally from Mumbai and now slaying stages across NYC, trained at Stella Adler, Strongstreet Studio, and NYU Tisch. You’ve seen him as Sanjay in Doomers, Malcolm in Macbeth, a sword-slinging Lieutenant in Coriolanus—and now he’s back in Velvet Rage, reprising the role of Reis, which he originated at last year. And yes, he’s still that girl. 💅

Veer also writes and creates his own work—Tomorrow, Day After and Bhai bhai bhai (premiering 2026 at NYTF)—because one lane simply isn’t enough.

This Brooklyn-born actor-writer-professor brings his full self to the stage and screen, with credits in Succession, Maisel, Billions, and the Oscar-nominated A Complete Unknown. He’s a published poet, NYU professor, and longtime NYC theater artist.

Royce Johnson (Jeffrey) is back for round two of Velvet Rage—and back with his sheets. His stage work has taken him across the country, including the award-winning Stuck (NYC Fringe, Cincinnati Fringe, and Atlanta’s upcoming Lavender Fest), Happenstance (Kraine Theatre), and Crazy About You (Producer’s Club). You might’ve also caught him on Criminal Minds, Chuck, or Hannah Montana.

After bouncing between coasts, Royce is now firmly planted in New York and actively seeking reps—but doesn’t want to pay $1200 for a meet-and-greet showcase. Is that tacky to say here? Feel free to take a poll.

From q***r sports films with plants 🌱 to podcasting with Jeffrey Marsh 🎙, Zaq’s all about stories that hit deep and show up raw.
