Unfortunately, due to weather conditions and extensive road closures around the Lincoln Memorial, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Sunday’s outdoor performance.

Instead, in the spirit of making opera music accessible to all, Opera Italiana is in the Air will be live streamed via YouTube. This format will allow us to deliver the exceptional music for free while ensuring the safety and comfort of our performers and audience.

Check our social media or our website, operaitalianaisintheair.com, on Sunday for the live streaming link.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to sharing this beautiful musical journey with you on Sunday at 6:30 pm.

We are thrilled to announce the winner of our — Marina Medici!🎉

A 37-year-old singer living in Rome, Marina has performed in some of opera’s most cherished shows, including Giancomo Puccini’s “La Boheme,” “The Tsar’s Fiancee” by Rimsky Korsakov, “Don Carlo” by Giuseppe Verdi, and others. We cannot wait to hear her perform the Italian National Anthem at the Lincoln Memorial on June 15.

We were so blown away by the many talented voices who submitted videos on Instagram and TikTok. Thank you so much for entering our contest. It was a joy to hear you sing!❤️
