Local Flavah! 🍔 ⚓️

Paul Wahlberg, chef and owner of Wahlburgers, spent a “Fine Navy Day” alongside U.S Sailors and Marines as he toured both USS Arlington (LPD 24) and USS Constitution as part of Sail250 Boston, July 14. Along the way, he spoke with U.S. Navy culinary specialists, enjoyed demonstrations of vehicles and equipment, and learned about the history of two legendary ships.

Our time in this incredible city may be winding down, but there’s still a full day’s worth of great events on tap to celebrate Independence from right here in the cradle of liberty!

The U.S. Navy is offering one more free public tour of USS Arlington (LPD 24) today:

9am-Noon
Black Falcon Pier
88,Black Falcon Ave
Boston, MA 02210

(Wait times to visit the ship may vary, so stay prepared and stay protected: bring a water source, stay hydrated and make sure to wear sunscreen while waiting to tour the ship.)

There are also multiple opportunities to hear some incredible music from our world-class U.S. Navy and Marine bands!

ICYMI: The crew of USS Constitution participated in the Crew and Cadet Parade during Sail250 Boston, July 13, 2026.

The 1.3-mile route from Christopher Columbus Park to Leader Bank Pavilion was lined with spectators cheering for the Constitution crew as well as crews representing ships from around the world.

Lots of fun on tap today, including tours of USS Arlington (LPD 24) at Black Falcon Pier, plus three— count ‘em, THREE — concerts featuring our world-class U.S. Navy bands! 🎸 🎺

SAFETY TIP: if you’re taking a ship tour, please wear flat, rubber-soled shoes. No high heels, open-toed shoes or bags that will be too heavy to carry comfortably.
