The Raven – step into the mind of Edgar Allan Poe

This October, step into the dark mind of Edgar Allan Poe, as The Raven invites you to investigate a haunted early-19th century mansion using only Bose augmented reality glasses and carrying an enchanted Internet of Things lantern. This groundbreaking experience will have a world premiere at the prestigious New York Film Festival before launching a month-long, limited run.

Drawing from over fifty short stories, poems and historical letters, The Raven crafts an immersive tale of mystery and suspense.

Would you be interested in that one? LMK ASAP DM me
Thanks,

Tales & Cocktails with Sally Darling- excerpt from PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
Hi there! I teach performing arts at a middle school in Brownsville, Brooklyn. We have been remote all year and the class is held over Zoom. To close out the year, I am incorporating smaller units of study. Our current unit is personal storytelling. Are there folks in this group who have experience coaching young people (ages 10-14) and can lead 45-minute workshops? Especially interested in folks who are from East New York/Brownsville/Canarsie/Crown Heights, but open to anyone with the right experience. Message me here or send a DM with your experience. Paid opportunity. Thanks!
So looking forward to this event. Coming up tomorrow evening.

Have you written a love letter to yourself? It was one of the many empowering things I had done for myself.

Sometimes you need to really articulate and speak out loud how and why you appreciate yourself.

Join us this Wednesday at 7pm CST.

Dear Friends, IN 2008 I was luckily awarded the JJ Reneaux emerging artist award that afforded me the chance to work with other tellers I admired. It gave me confidence and some recognition. Typical of storytellers, we like share the wealth and goodness so in that vein...the grant is now open and ready for you to apply! Please share this opportunity with as many people as you can think of across the diverse spectrum of storytellers. We need you! Let your voice be heard!

The J.J. Reneaux Emerging Artist Fund supports two different grant programs, both of which provide funds for activities to advance storytelling skills. The Emerging Artist Grant awards $1,500 to a storyteller of major and unique performing talent who has not yet received wide public recognition.
