A sure sign that I am loving a project is that I forget to take pictures. A second is that I forget to tell anyone about it until the last minute. Luckily, a Senior in my Workshop at Project Find Clinton Senior Citizen Center snapped this pic today, inspiring me to post a full two days in advance of our performance! Needless to say, I am fully immersed and engaged, delighted to be learning from a devoted, creative and brave group of older adults, who have amazing stories! Please come enjoy the fruits of their labor, as they share stories of their lifetimes this Friday, June 24 at 10am. A light breakfast will be served.
I am delighted to be a second time Su-Casa Artist in Residence with the phenomenal support of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and the granting organizations credited below. I heart NY.
Laura Pruden is a participant in SU-CASA. This program is supported by public funds from the New York City Council, in partnership with the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the NYC Department for the Aging. It is carried out in collaboration with New York City’s local arts councils. Additional
support is provided by the Tiger Barron Foundation. LMCC.net
