Mezzo-Soprano @Melisa Bonetti Luna was honored to sing an original -- "Weather Model" by composer Sam Wu The two joined together in New York City participating in National Sawdust NextGen3 that showcases the most innovative work from future industry innovators. These ten up-and-coming composers--selected from a pool of over 140 applicants--write in a dazzling array of musical styles. It was an exciting evening. International Festival was founded in 2011 as a young artists program, the first of its kind in China. Today, it has grown to become a unique international vocal arts Festival, attracting post-graduate and young professional singers from East and West. Since its inception, nearly 400 young singers from over 30 countries have participated in iSING!, performing in over 50 major concerts in venues including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. Under the leadership of Artistic Director, @haojiangtian iSING! Festival continues to evolve as it introduces novel new concepts in operatic performance and cultural exchange between East and West. Currently a newly selected group of 2024/25 singers are beginning the "Echoes of Ancient Tang Poetry." Two major concerts were held in Macau and Wuhan. Second stop on the 2024 iSING! "Echoes of Ancient Tang Poetry" is Wuhan, China. The singers spread across the city delighting crowds in shopping malls and city streets. Onlookers loved the song and joined in with the fun. In the midsts of all of the fun they are training hard for their performance on September 19 with the Hubei Opera and ance Theater Symphony Orchestra.
