Lincoln Center Theater mourns the loss of longtime board member Leonard Tow. Len was a cherished friend, theater connoisseur, respected advisor and visionary philanthropist whose influence and impact will be felt for decades to come. Len joined the Lincoln Center Theater board in 2001 and was a major champion of new plays and emerging playwrights. The Claire Tow Theater, home to new works, was named for his beloved wife of blessed memory. Len was a regular presence in our audience, a thought partner to our board and staff, and a constant source of support for our work. He will be missed deeply by all. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Len’s family and friends.
