Happy anniversary y'all. 0n April 21, 1966 a "sip-in" occurred at Julius'. It was not that long ago that two men being romantically together was illegal. We've been taught that this country was founded on the separation of church and State & yet time and time again the doctrine of the church (which could easily be argued are not the teachings of Jesus) interfere with the lives of good people. It seems impossible to imagine that such a thing would be part of legislation. And yet, here we are again. We were also told that history repeats. Well, I'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to. We can choose to make different choices. We can become aware of what makes us uncomfortable. We can examine and learn from our collective past and pave a future where we treat each other with kindness. Let's remember to love our neighbors y'all ❤️🌈all of them. And a big thank you to for the walking tour of NYC. There's no better way to experience a city than with a local who has a passion for history & a beautiful ability to paint a vibrant and clear picture of the time.

Today was a great day for outdoor spring cleaning! Who else is currently cleaning out the cobwebs? Do you go as far as to mop your roof?!? ... I wouldn't if I didn't have solar panels 🤷‍♂️
