I have not found a single list that has mentioned all of these names.

Every time I have tried to put this list together, I have stumbled upon several more cases that went underreported.

The Federal Gov & DOJ have stopped including statistics regarding trans & LGBT people in federal data collections, including crime victimization data. Anti-trans murders in the USA have been on a high this year, and yet they are being alarmingly underreported and in many cases actively obscured and covered up.

Most major news outlets have not covered the majority of these cases, and if they did, they left out key details on the victims’ identity or even the victims themselves. Luca RedBeard Knapp was not mentioned in the initial police reports about his case.

In addition, Google’s search results & AI overview are actively covering up these stories. Upon looking for details on Taylor Sylver, google’s AI repeatedly assured me “there were no trans women murdered in Charlotte North Carolina this year” or pointed me to earlier or nearby cases until I put in a specific date. I have had similar results with a lot of these searches. Even if you’ve been trying to keep up with trans people being murdered in the US, you’ve probably still only heard a handful of these names.

This list is compiled to the best of my ability, I have tried to be as thorough as I can but I am sure there are victims I have still missed. The coverage on most trans cases actively seeks to obscure the identities of the victims- and many more are misreported as suicides.

If you’re not trans, please wake the f**k up to what is going on in this country. The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention has issued 3 warnings already regarding the Trump Administration’s treatment of Transgender Americans as an escalating genocide. Most trans people in the USA are having to currently plan how they will flee the country. They experimenting on trans inmates in federal prisons with forced conversion therapy and denying them medical care. They are passing new laws criminalizing transness at state and federal levels every day. CIS PEOPLE WAKE TF UP!!!

And if you’re trans, please stay safe. You are all family to me.

Blessed to be SM on this INCREDIBLE ORIGINAL PLAY by .enzo about trans liberation, gender abolition, and maintaining trans community in a world that is actively threatening to kill us.

It’s dark, funny, radical, poignant, romantic, revolutionary, scary, and is willing to reveal truths and ask questions that aren’t easy to answer.

It is everything theatre should be, everything it NEEDS to be right now.

Our last run was at The Tank in the fall, and this play and the themes it discusses have only grown more and more relevant.

It is the most important piece of theatre that I have ever worked on.

So context for my personal followers but for the past like 5 months I’ve been a Drag King in NYC known as Ethan Aphrodite.

Anywayyy that account got taken down & it won’t let me make a new one, sooo in the meantime any drag/burlesque/cool nyc q***r people should follow me on here!

The NYC drag scene genuinely functions entirely off instagram & it’s hard for me to follow more ppl on this account (I have to unfollow someone bc I hit the limit) so pretty much everyone I’ve met had that account as my main contact info.
