“My friend, you will be missed” - The 20th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

This is your final week to see Spelling Bee and Heathers at New World Stages! It has been a fun year having these revivals back in New York City, and wish the cast and crew of each show all the best as the curtain comes down on Sunday. You will indeed be missed!

Green Team Guide Logan had the best time with these folks on Sunday's Broadway's Beginnings Tour! Despite a little unexpected rain, these tour-goers were excited to explore the city and soak up all of our Broadway stories. The Haukaas and Saslow groups were both celebrating birthdays while in the Big Apple, and all saw Schmigadoon this weekend. We loved hearing about their adventures this week, and feel so lucky to be part of it!

We loved sharing our Hudson Theatre Up Close Tour with the Discovering Broadway group! Green Team Guides Brady and Tim enjoyed getting to know this wonderful group of deeply invested theatre lovers who joined us by way of Indiana. They're seeing a mix of shows including Schmigadoon, Other Desert Cities Play, Two Strangers Musical, The Lost Boys, and more. They loved the tour and had great questions about the financial side of producing a Broadway show, and were dazzled by the glorious Hudson throughout our time together!

Green Team Guide Brett loved sharing our HamilTour with this group on Sunday! They were all true theatre-loving folks, fascinated by the layers fo the history we peel back on our Hamilton sidewalks. These tour-goers asked fantastic questions throughout and brought amazing energy every step of the way. Their collective show-going this week includes Operation Mincemeat Broadway, Hamilton, Stranger Things, and more!

Green Team Guide John enjoyed meeting April and Vicki on Saturday! These ladies took on our Shubert Brothers & Beyond Tour as part of their annual NYC trip. We can tell they loved our tour, and recalled many of the shows they’ve seen together at each theatre we encountered. Enjoy Operation Mincemeat Broadway, Maybe Happy Ending Musical, and And Juliet Broadway, you two!

It's always a great day to explore our Hudson Theatre Up Close Tour! Green Team Guide Kimmy was happy to welcome the Bowman and Hockberger groups inside Broadway's oldest / newest theater on Saturday. These three were thrilled by the beautiful interior of the Hudson, and asked thoughtful questions. We loved seeing the Hockbergers again, having met them the day before on our Broadway's Beginnings Tour. Deborah is also no stranger to BUC, and we're so glad she returned this weekend. We sent them off to see matinees of Midnight and Billy Crystal's 860, and hope to welcome them back again next time!
