AS - Artists Studios

AS - Artists Studios AS | ARTISTS STUDIOS is an online database of the strongest under-represented art in New York City greater metropolitan area and Paris, France.

Artists Studios is a conduit of taste and an online database of non-represented art that seeks to create an online space in which one can view art that is less accessible than art created by represented artists. The observation of contemporary art is viewed primarily in the context of the market, located at the opposite end of artistic creativity. Through the fusion of art history and art criticism, Artists Studios serves as an archive, document and resource of the strongest non-represented art that is made in studios throughout New York City and the greater metropolitan region.

On July 15th, contemporary artist Manon Harrois (1988-2026) passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained from a car accident. Harrois was a prolific conceptual artist who was discovered by Gilles Fuchs and became known for her intricately-drawn blue notebooks that became the basis for her site-specific works that extended from Paris to Troyes, Lisbon, and Sao Paolo. In each city, Harrois culled and shaped sculptures, textiles, installations and drawings that were unique to the artist's immediate environment. Galeria Foco will continue exhibiting her art.
