| I am beyond thrilled to join an INCREDIBLE list of trailblazers and changemakers I admire as an honoree in The THROUGHLINE Art Exhibition - Volume II || .art

In collaboration with and ; THROUGHLINE is an immersive art experience designed to honor a selection of women changemakers shaping their local community culture.

Leveraging photography, painting, performance art, and culinary craft, this exhibition will highlight local artist as they share their interpretation of these incredible women.

As we all know, Black women are not often seen and are rarely celebrated as they should be. .art aims to shift this paradigm in The THROUGHLINE exhibition. 🖤

Congrats to all my fellow honorees, it’s truly an honor to stand alongside you for this, especially now.

| Whew. September always feels like the busiest and fastest month, but this year it really flew by! She brought her own set of challenges, wins (like these snaps from ), and even some losses, but I made it pushed through—stronger, wiser, and so ready for October. Anyone else feeling the mix of exhaustion and hope as we step into these last 92 days of 2024?

Embracing growth, resilience and early voting for October! Keep climbing, y’all. Keep going, and please make a plan to vote!! 💪🏽🚀 🗳️

| Full and overflowing. That’s how I wanted the Chicago Bootcamp attendees to feel at the end of the day. And yet, that’s just what I am, full, overflowing, and grateful beyond words for the humans who joined us on our 5th bootcamp, and first event in Chicago.

Thank you to everyone who popped out and showed out from our attendees, to our speakers and session leaders, volunteers, friends, and especially our dedicated and committed sponsors.

One of my intentions for our events is to ensure that our humans feel brave, celebrated, encouraged, heard, safe, seen, valued and welcomed along with letting everyone know that is committed to making creative careers more accessible and inclusive for US. We’re bridging the gap on making it clear to the industry that it’s not a talent deficit, but rather an opportunity deficit, and I couldn’t be more proud of the community we’re building.

Oh, and you know I made sure everyone in attendance checked their voter registration and/or registered to vote! 🗳️

Special, special thanks to and for helping to make Chicago so incredibly special. Grateful is an understatement. 🫶🏽🪜

Cannes I tell you how much I love my job? I seriously cannot believe is 2! We celebrated back where we launched and brought along a cohort to give them the opportunity of a lifetime. Alex, Anne, Armando, Celeste, Jorge + Kiku crushed the Croisette, and I couldn’t be more proud. 🪜

None of this would be possible without my incredible team, our dedicated board, and our transformative partners. Endless gratitude to our friends and supporters who poured so much into them over the course of the year, and especially while on the ground at Cannes. Christena, Jason, and Asha, you all are my heroes. Chad, Susu, and Kristi, thank you for hosting a celebration full of acceptance, belonging, and support. It felt like a warm hug, except I’ll say cool bc Côte d’Azur.

Walt, Janis, Erin, Tyler, Thas, Nancy, Danny, Jill, Anna, and Mark and Mark, I know this is the busiest week of the year, thank you for taking the time, for sharing your magic, and for lifting as you continue climbing.

To our friends who came to celebrate alongside us, thank you. My heart is full, bursting and overflowing. 🥹

I absolutely loved moderating yesterday’s panel, The Art of a collaboration, for the Creative Academy* alongside an all women panel of industry giants, legends and friends, Sara Tate and Judy Lee. It was so good to hear and share the many innovative ways and are leveraging diversity within teams to breakthrough ideas that not only propel businesses forward but also contribute positively to society. Thank you, Pinterest Beach for hosting us!

*The LIONS Academies help rising young talent fast-track their careers and become the next generation of industry leaders.

| We’re just one week away from celebrating the 2nd anniversary of The Creative Ladder in Cannes! So much to celebrate, and so many good humans to thank.

I’m truly looking forward to moderating an incredible conversation, The Art of Collaboration, at Pinterest Beach for the Cannes Lions Creative Academy, a certificate program designed to catapult young talent to the next level of their careers. I’m honored, and so excited, to join colleagues to share insight, inspiration, and innovation as we continue to uplift and empower global rising leaders in the creative community. Keep climbing!
